This course is a survey of economic concepts, principles, and functions. Students will examine theories and then apply those theories to actual economic behavior. Microeconomic topics include supply and demand, production and consumption, and the economic role of government. Macroeconomic topics include measures of economic activity, the business cycle, money supply, and economic forecasting.
International economic issues include trade policy, currency exchange, and international economic organizations.
